About Us
Inscrutable Apps (officially, Inscrutable Apps, LLC) has been an independent, women-owned company since our founding in 2023. From the outset our goal has been privacy first. We started Inscrutable Apps to provide products that prioritize privacy, while providing value to our users. We’ve built our applications with our friends, family and own children in mind. We hope that you too will find value in our products that put you, and your privacy, first.
Privacy Policy
We do not sell your personal information.
We have never sold any personal information, full stop.
Our apps utilize encryption at rest and in-transit. Your data is only ever shared with those you choose to share it with and cannot be viewed or read by those you choose not to share it with. For everyone else, your data is inscrutable.

We make money through selling apps.
There are quotes from as early as the 1970s, that make reference to the viewer and end user being the product, not the consumer. This has been translated and reworked over the years and is now most often quoted as “If you are not paying for it, you’re not the customer; you’re the product being sold.” This remains as true today as it was then, but this is not the business model we’ve chosen. We don’t sell your data; we make money through selling apps.
We do not knowingly market to or solicit information from children.
Our apps are intended for a general audience, and we do not knowingly market to or solicit information from children under 13.
